If there is a particular type of image that you would like for a particular space, based on colour or style or even content, send us the details and we will search our image database and select the best images for you. These images can then be presented in a pdf file format and e-mailed to you, or we can write the files to CD, and send it to you so that you can browse the images in the comfort of your home.
We will find images for you, based on your requirements and you reap the benefits of having images that suit your requirements perfectly, without the time consuming search process.
Sporting Images
2canvas has formed an association with the SNS Group, who will provide 2canvas and our clients with access to a huge library of sporting images.
Football, Rugby, Boxing, Golf or perhaps Athletics. Whatever your personal favourite is, we will have images that represent those memorable moments, all ready to be transferred to canvas.
Historical events such as Celtic's Lisbon Lions' European Cup victory, Rangers' and Aberdeen's victories in the European Cup Winners' Cup, Tiger Woods winning at St. Andrews and Buchanan vs Watt; great and memorable sporting achievements and events, and all available to you as canvas artworks.
Think of sporting legends and the names Kenny Dalglish, Denis Law, Jock Stein, Jonah Lomu, Tiger Woods, and Jack Nicklaus spring instantly to mind. Now you can have them on canvas, as permanent reminders of their great achievements.
All these sporting events and heroes of sport can be found in the biggest independent sports picture library, which contains over 500,000 images, capturing some of the most memorable moments in sporting history at home and abroad over the past three decades.

Limited Edition Art
2canvas is always on the look out for artists and photographers who can provide original images and artwork for our clients. We now have a number of photographers and artists who provide us with art for our gallery and stock.
Some of the artwork provided is in the form of limited edition runs of perhaps 25 or 50 copies, so you can be happy that you are purchasing something which is original and desirable. All of our limited edition art comes with certificates of authenticity, guaranteeing the quality and provenance of any piece of art we supply.
Art To Go
Come along to our gallery in Stockwell Street, Glasgow and view the many canvases displayed there. We have many different sizes and styles to choose from, landscape, pop art, urban art (i.e. graffiti), limited editions and who knows what you might think of once you've been inspired!
All the canvases in our gallery are 'ready to go' so come along, you might pick up a bargain.
Posters
2canvas also provides a poster printing service. Posters are printed on heavy duty Matt or Glossy paper and can have a number of finishes applied such as encapsulation, heat sealing, mounting to card, kappa board or foamex (3mm or 5mm).
Pricing is based on the poster size and any finishing required.
Design
2canvas offers its design service as part of the all inclusive cost of producing your unique canvas artwork*. 2canvas takes the process of design and transitioning of your image very seriously, working with you to ensure that you receive exactly what you imagined when you placed your order.
Design services can include any or all of the following:
- Red eye repair
- Cropping
- Cut-out
- Blur
- Removing and replacing objects
- Enlarging and reducing
- Enhancement
- Image sharpening
- Retouching
- Colour balancing
- Brightness and contrast balancing
- Desaturation (i.e. changing from colour to black and white)
*2canvas reserves the right to charge, at photo restoration rates for excessively damaged or faded images, which require extensive restoration time.
Proofing
Our proofing service backs this up by providing you with a sample image to view. This allows the client to make additional changes to the image before we move to the printing stage. This iterative process again ensures that your completed canvas looks exactly as you imagined it.
Photo Restoration
2canvas offers a photo restoration service, bringing your old or damaged photographs back to their original splendour. Once the image has been restored, it can be printed at a size to suit the space you have available, providing you more flexibility and choice. The image can also be printed onto a number of different media including our canvas wraps.
Photo restoration is charged on a time basis.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers make a wonderful present. They provide a flexibility that allows the recipient to make the most out of your gift.

Image Transitions
Collage / Montage
Collage (from the French 'coller', to stick) is regarded as a work of visual art made from an assemblage of different forms, thus creating a new whole. This technique made its first appearance in the early 20th century as a ground breaking novelty, but with the passing of time it has become ubiquitous.
Similarly, montage (from the French for "putting together") is a closely related technique of combining images from various sources into a single composition.
Collage and montage style canvases will be at the standard price plus a £25 design charge.
Select up to 12 of your favourite photos and let 2canvas design something that is interesting, unique, personal and beautiful.
Select a shape to hold the images in your collage, perhaps a heart, circle or star, then select a colour to fill the rest of the canvas with to create something truly stunning.
Spot Colour
Select a part of the image that you would like to keep coloured and we'll remove the colour from the rest of the image, resulting in a stunning image with an eye-catching detail.
Pop Art
Fancy a 'Warhol' style image designed with your favourite colours? This canvas is a 4 image canvas; we'll isolate any face from any photo and create this colourful piece of pop art. This canvas can be designed using one, two or four photos of the same or different subjects.
Or be adventurous; why not go for a multi-panel pop? We adjust the colour/brightness and contrast of the faces and turn our standard Warhol style Pop design into a multi-paneled piece of art on a solid colour background.

Fun
- Multi-Image: A single image repeated over the canvas with different coloured backgrounds.
- Puzzle: A single, square, image is created as a jig-saw puzzle with either 56, 30 or 20 pieces. Perhaps a few of the pieces could be left lying at the side of the puzzle to give the effect of an unfinished puzzle?
- Multi-Photo Images: A single image is created as multiple photos are combined.
Cartoon
Provide us with a portrait of family or friend and let us convert it to a visually stunning cartoon image. We can even have a word bubble containing the phrase by which they are best known.

Perhaps an "Opie style" cartoon, based on the Julian Opie style of art:
Julian Opie's highly stylised work, involves the reduction of photographs (or short films) into figurative reproductions (created using computer software). In his portraiture, the human face is characterised by black outlines with flat areas of colour, and minimalised detail, to the extent that an eye can become a just the black circle of the pupil, and sometimes a head is represented by a circle with a space where the neck would be. In this way, Julian Opie tries to present the complexities of the human form by reducing it to its mere basics.
Julian Opie's style was brought into the public eye when he was asked to design the cover for the British band, Blur's best-of album.
Cartoon canvases makes for a fun, original and interesting gift.
Vintage and Sepia Styles
Allow us to take a modern photo and transform it in to something which looks aged. It's the reverse of our photo restoration process but it can be a very effective and results in a photo which has more effect than the original.
If you don't want to age an image then perhaps a simple sepia wash would produce the result you're looking for. This effect gives the impression of age but keep the clarity of the original.
Vignette
A process by which there is loss in clarity towards the corners and sides of an image. For example, this can be in the shape of an oval, circle or heart. Send us a photo of a romantic couple, or two individual photos and we'll create for you the most unique wedding, engagement, valentine or general I love you present.
Multi-Panel
Why not select a favourite photo and split it over multiple canvases? This process is quite complex in that the image is wrapped around the side of the canvas so that the image seems continuous from all angles.

Carved In Stone
Do you have a favourite poem or quote, perhaps a song that your Granny sang to you when you were young? Why not have it transferred to canvas and give it our 'stone tablet' effect.
This effect is very convincing and results in a canvas which looks like a slab of stone with your poem, quote or song carved into it.
This can be a useful effect for businesses who want to have their company logo and perhaps a mission statement produced in an original and unique way.
Artistic Effects
Your original image can be converted by using a number of artistic effects; transform your image from a photo to something even more unique and personal such as a sketch, water colour, oil painting or acrylic art work.
Children's Drawings
Do you have a favourite piece of art created by your kids, grandchildren, nieces and nephews or friends? Why not preserve them for posterity and have them professionally transferred onto canvas.
